Mrs. Laura A. Trombley, 72 of Ellenburg Center, died
Monday, May 14, 1979 at the Plattsburgh Medical Center.
Born at Chasm Falls, May 31, 1906, she was a daughter of
Alfred and Emma Varin Bushey,
She was married to Charles Trombley. He survies. She was
a member of St. Edmund’s Church, Ellenburg.
Besides her husband, she is survived by five daughters,
Mrs. David (Rita) Malark. Mrs. Kenneth (Theresa) Powers
and Mrs. Lester (Marjorie) Matthews, all of Churubusco,
and Mrs. Bernard (Beulah) Whalen and Mrs. Roger (Bertha)
Barcomb, both of Plattsburgh; four sons, Richard,
Laverne, Walter and Leonard, all of Ellenburg; two sisters,
Mrs. Delia Trombley and Mrs. Edward (Emma) Dominic,
both of Ellenburg; four brtoehrs, David and Ernest bothof
Vermont, Joseph of Plattsburgh and Paul of Malone; 38
grand children and several great grandchildren.
Funeral services were held Wednesday at 10:30 a.m. in St.
Edmund’s Church. Burial will be in the parish cemetery.

Emma M. Dominic

ELLENBURG — Emma M. Dominic,
79, died Thursday. Sept 20.
1990, at her home.
Born in Ellenburg Center Oct.
28, 1910, she was the daughter of
Alfred and Emma Varin Bushey.
Mrs. Dominic was an honorary
member of the Altar Rosary Society,
a former member of Catholic
Daughters of the Americas and a
member of St Edmund’s Church.
Her husband, Edward Dominic,
died Aug. 25,1990.
She is survived by eight sons,
Reginald Dominic of Syracuse,
Maynard Dominic of Liverpool, Ragel
Dominic of Phoenix, Gary Dominic
of Rochester, Larry Dominic
of Mooers Forks, Billy Dominic of
Plattsburgh, Roland Dominic of Ellenburg
and Robert Dominic of Ellenburg;
five daughters, Mrs. William
(Antoinette) Toohill of Burke,
Mrs. Douglas (May) Chaffey of
Maitydale, Mrs. Nancy Wayne of
Syracuse, Mrs. Roy (Marylee) Fonner
of Georgia and Mrs. Anthony
(Jane) Angelo of Watertown; and
three brothers, Paul Bushey of Malone,
Joseph Bushey of Florida and
Ernest Bushey of Vermont.
There were- no calling hours.
Funeral services were Saturday at
St Edmunds Church. Burial was in
the parish cemetery. Arrangements
were made by E.F. Drown Funeral
Service in Ellenburg Depot
Memorial donations may be
made to Hospice Care of Clinton
County or the Fitzpatrick Oncology
Center of CVPH Medical Center.

Golden, 84, of Sacred Heart Nursing
Home died Friday evening, Oct. 8,
,1982, at the nursing home.
She was born in Plattsburgh Aug.
30, 1898, the daughter of the late
Mose and Lottie (Antoine) Bushey.
She was the widow of Francis R.
Golden.
She had lived in Plattsburgh all

Peter’s ChurcH.
She leaves a son, Clayton F.
Golden of Plattsburgh; a daughter,
Mrs. Robert (Loretta) Griffin of
Plattsburgh; a brother, Ray Bushey
of Plattsburgh; two sisters, Mrs.
Alphonse (Rena) Nichols and Mrs.

Plattsburgh; four grandchildren,
five great-grandchildren, and
several nieces and nephews.
Calling hours will be Sunday from
2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. at the Brown
Funeral Home in Plattsburgh.

Friday night.

Raymond Bushey dies

Plattsburgh – Raymond R
Bushey, 60, of 30 N. Beekman
St., died Friday, March 6, 1992
at CVPH Medical Center following
a lengthy illness.
He was born in Plattsburgh,
Oct. 4, 1931, the son of Walter A.
and Bertha (Brautt) Bushey.
Mr. Bushey was the president
formerly WA Bushey and Sons,
highway contractors. He built
“Rollerland” on North Beekman
Street, which later became Club
400 and then the Clasic IV,
which was recently destroyed by
fire. He also introduced Buffalo
meat to the North Country
through the Clinton Buffalo
Farm in Beekmantown.
Kir. Bushey was a member of
the Association of General Contractors,
the Benevolent and Protective
Order of Elks Plattsburgh
Lodge 621, a member of the Plattsburgh
Air Force Base Liaison
Committee, former chairman of
the board of Norstar Bank and
was a communicant of St Peter’s
Church.
Survivors include his wife, the
former Shirley A. Trombiey; a
son, Richard R. Bushey of
Beekmantown; a daughter, Mrs.
(Michael) Jacqueline Bellew of
Plattsburgh; one brother, Marvin
Bushey of Morrisonville; two
sisters, Mrs. (Robert) Mildred
Foti Gerry of Cocoa Beach, Fla.
and Mrs. (Victor) Minerva
Mousseau of Cumberland Head;
five grandchildren; several nieces
and nephews. A son, Randy
Bushey, died in 1975 and a
brother, Donald Bushey, died in
1978.
Calling hours will be at the
R.W. Walker Funeral Home at
the convenience of the family. A
Mass of Christian burial will be
held Monday at 11 a.m. at St.
Peter’s Church. Burial will be in
the parish cemetery in the
spring.
Memorial donations may be
made to the Katie Bushey Cerebral
Palsy Care Fund in care of
C.N. Goineau, 6 McMartin St.,
Plattsburgh, N.Y., 12901
