77 of Chestnut Street, Williamstown, Mass., died Tuesday morning March 21, 2006, at the North Adams Commons. He was born in Mooers Forks, N.Y., on Jan. 3, 1929, a son of the late Fred Brassard and Marceline (Monette) Brassard. Calling hours at Flynn & Dagnoli-Montagna Home for Funerals West Chapels, 521 West Main St. North Adams, Mass. are Friday from 5 to 8 p.m. A Liturgy of Christian burial will be celebrated Saturday morning March 25, 2006, at 11 a.m. at St. Patrick’s Church in Williamstown. Burial will follow in the family lot in Eastlawn Cemetery.

MOOERS FORKS – Fred J.
Brassard, 78, died Thursday afternoon
at the CVPH Medical Center in
Plattsburgh.
He was born March 16, 1899 in
Mooers Forks, the son of Alex and
Mary (Gadway) Brassard.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Marceline Monette of
Mooers Forks; four daughters, Mrs.
Ernest (Eldora) DeCoste and Mrs.
Wilfred (Beatrice) LaValley, both
of Mooers Forks; Sister St. Rita
Irene Brassard of South Africa, and
Mrs. John (Rita) Hall of White
Bluff, Tenn.; two sons, Arthur
Brassard of Mineville and Alvin
Brassard of Williamstown, Mass.;
and 24 grandchildren and 28 great grandchildren.
Calling hours at the Drown
Funeral Home in Ellenburg Depot
will be from 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m.
Sunday and Monday. Funeral
arrangements were incomplete late
Friday night. Burial will be in St.
Anne’s Cemetery in Mooers Forks
