LOUIS ANO, 61,
FOUND DEAD
Louis Ano, 61, a resident of Tupper
Lake during the past 46 years,
was found dead In the kitchen of
his home on Tsilman street about
7 o’clock,Monday evening, apparently
a victim of a heart ailment.
Employed at Intervals by J. A.
VUlnave and Sons, Mr. Ano had
worked Monday. After the day’s
work he had begun preparing a
meal and had lighted the stove,
when he was stricken and found
his way to a chair. Little Walter
VUlnave, son of Mr. and Mrs.
George VUlnave, whose home Is
nearby, -’noticed the flames flaring
about the kettle on the stove and
attempted to a r o u s e Mr. Ano,
who he thought was dozing In
big chair. Falling, be called his
mother, who summoned a doctor.
Mr. Ano was born on May 1st,
1874, at Standish, N. Y., and had
worked in and about Tupper Lake
since about 1800. He was single.
Interment was made in St. Alpbonsus
Cemetery this morning.
He’ Is survived by six slaters,
four of whom reside In Herklmer,
one at Montreal and another at
Montpelier, Vt. All were present
at the services here today.
