Midas Ashline

ELLENBURG DEPOT — Midas
Ashline, 65, a resident,of Ellenburg
most of his life, died Wednesday
in Easthampton, Mass., where he
resided the past two years.
Mr. Ashline was a farmer in the
Town of Ellenburg most of his life.
He was the father of Mrs. Emma
Ashline, who, with her husband,
Clifford Ashline,’ and their two
children were burned to death here
on March 18, 1958.
He is survived by his wife, the
former Emma Fisher;, three sons,
Midas Jr. and Peter, of Ellenburg
Depot, and Roy Ashline Of Pittsfield,
Mass.; two brothers, Oscar
of Easthampton and Albert Ashline
of Champlain; also two sisters,
Mrs. Eleanor Ladoucieur of Pittsfield
and Mrs. Matilda King, of
Moose Creek, Ontario.
The body is at the Drown funeral
home, Ellenburg. Funeral services
will be held at St. Edmund’s
Church Saturday morning at 9:30.
The body will be placed in the
vault in the parish cemetery to
await burial this spring.
