CHAMPLAIN _ Albert Ashline,
Sr., a lifelong resident of Champlain,
died yesterday at Physicians
Hospital. He was 59.
Mr. Ashline was long an employe
of the Sheridan Iron Works. Injured
In an accident some years ago, he
suffered the loss of a leg. Since then
he conducted a grocery store hi the
village.
Mr. Ashline Is survived by -three
sons, Peter, Albert, Jr. and Donald
Ashline of Champlain; two daughters,
Mrs. Roy Smith of Champlain
and Mrs. Robert Stewart of Chazy
Lake; two brothers, Frank, of
Montreal, and Oscar Ashline of
Easthampton, Mass.; also It grandchildren.
The body Is at the LaValley funeral
home. Funeral services will he
held at St. Marys Church on Thursday
morning at 9. Burial will take
place in the parish cemetery.
